Privacy Policy

Mental Beast ("we," "us") is a mental performance coaching platform. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: your data exists to power your coaching, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

What we collect

• Account information — your name and email address when you create an account or are invited by your coach.
• Assessment and tool data — your answers to intake forms, audits, and worksheets, and the data you enter in tools like habits, goals, values, energy, schedule, and breathwork.
• Content you submit for analysis — transcripts, notes, or statements you paste into the analysis tools, and any audio you record in the app.
• Technical data — IP address and basic request logs, used for security and rate limiting.

How we use it

• To run your assessments, tools, and coaching program.
• To generate your assessment results and personalized coaching insights. Content you submit for analysis is processed by Anthropic's Claude models via their API. Per Anthropic's commercial API terms, that data is not used to train their models.
• To send you reminder and recap emails if they are enabled for your account. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose unrelated to your coaching.

Your coach can see your data

Mental Beast is a coach-led platform. Your assessment results, coaching insights, and tool activity are visible to your coach so they can build and adjust your program. If you are uncomfortable with something being visible, don't enter it — or talk to your coach.

Where your data lives

Data is stored with Supabase (Postgres, hosted in the United States) and the app is hosted on Vercel. Data is encrypted in transit, and access is restricted by row-level security so users can only read their own records.

Service providers

We share data only with the providers required to run the service: Supabase (database, auth, storage), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI analysis), and Resend (email delivery). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as you have an account. To delete your account and all associated data, email hello@mentalbeast.net and we will remove it within 30 days.

Minors

Mental Beast works with youth athletes. Users under 18 may only use the platform with the consent and involvement of a parent or guardian, and the platform is not available to children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the effective date above and note the change on this page.
